We have been in business part-time for nearly five years. Our dream of devoting full time to the enterprise has been in transition from other professional jobs and it is our chosen direction. The name Picture Prose  was created because we wanted our images, whether on print or video medium, to tell a story, to be meaningful, and to reflect the emotion of the event and the feelings that the subjects portray. We both enjoy being with people and love working together so our products reflect the warmth and human touches that complete the memories we capture.

With videos, we use state-of-the-art digital cameras and editing equipment. Sound is as important as image so we use multiple wireless microphones, the number depending upon the event.  All video copies are made from a digital master (which we will maintain indefinitely) so that each copy is like an original in itself with no generational loss of quality.

Mary Ann's photography services include event coverage and photo essay as well as the portrait, boudoir, and artistry described above. Cameras are 35mm, medium-format, and digital. The computer software used for artwork is Adobe Photoshop.

Our commitment to you is to provide quality service in as unobtrusive manner as possible, be well-prepared for each shoot (we attend wedding rehearsals on our own time, for example), attend to even the smallest of details, be fun to work with, and give a result of which both you and Picture Prose are proud.
